Returns and exchanges
Yes. We accept exchanges and returns within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the jewelry is in perfect condition, unworn, and in its original packaging. Personalized items are excluded from this policy.
Items purchased during promotional or discount periods may be returned provided that the general conditions are met: unworn jewelry, with its original packaging, and within 30 days of receipt.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the jewel has a manufacturing defect or there has been an error in the order, in which situations Mattera will assume the full cost of return shipping.
Email us at manager@matterajewelry.com stating your order number, the piece you wish to return or exchange, and the reason. Our team will respond as soon as possible with shipping instructions and the steps to follow.
Once the jewelry is received and its condition verified, we will process the refund within 5 to 7 business days. The amount will be returned to the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Mattera is a Spanish design brand, with special attention to detail at every stage of the process. We work with suppliers and artisans committed to the quality of materials and the precision of the finish, so that each piece of jewelry is exactly what we imagined when we designed it.
All our pieces are made of 925 sterling silver and plated with 18-karat gold. We work exclusively with quality, nickel-free materials suitable for daily use.
With proper care, gold plating will retain its appearance for a long time. To preserve it, avoid contact with water, perfumes, creams, and sweat. Take them off before showering or exercising and store them in their pouch when not in use.
Yes. All our materials are nickel-free, the main cause of allergic reactions in jewelry. Both 925 sterling silver and 18-karat gold plating are safe for sensitive and reactive skin.
Jewelry Care
Remove them before showering, bathing, or playing sports. Avoid contact with perfumes, creams, and beauty products. Store them in their pouch or box in a dry place and clean them with a soft cloth when necessary.
We recommend avoiding prolonged contact with salt water or chlorine, as they can accelerate the wear of the finish. If they get wet, dry them thoroughly with a soft cloth before storing them.
Gently clean with a microfiber cloth or a jewelry polishing cloth. Avoid abrasive products or ultrasonic cleaners, especially on gold-plated items.
Store each piece separately to avoid rubbing and scratching. Avoid damp places and direct sunlight.
Sweat and natural skin oils can affect the finish over time. We recommend removing your jewelry before exercising and cleaning it regularly with a soft cloth.
We recommend applying perfume before putting on your jewelry and allowing it to dry completely. The chemical components of perfume can accelerate the wear of gold plating.

Gifts and packaging
Yes. All Mattera orders are shipped in our carefully designed, branded packaging. Ready to be gifted from the moment it arrives, with no additional wrapping needed.
Every order includes the jewelry in its branded box, a care card with instructions on how to keep your piece in perfect condition.
Of course. Indicate the recipient's address during the purchase process. We will not include an invoice with the price in the package.
Mattera's standard packaging is already designed to be delivered as a gift. We do not offer additional gift wrapping at this time, although our packaging already provides that level of care.
Payment and security

Yes. Our store operates with an SSL certificate and all payment data is processed in encrypted form. We do not store your card details at any time.

Warranty
Yes. All Mattera jewelry includes a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
The warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects and material failures. Any original problem with the part within that period will be addressed at no cost to you.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, impacts, drops, improper handling, lack of care, or exposure to inappropriate products such as perfumes, creams, or chemicals.
No. Some natural materials may have veins, marks, color variations, or other small irregularities inherent to their origin. These characteristics are part of their nature and uniqueness, and are not considered defects covered by the warranty.
